THIS YEARS COMMUNITY SUMMER PARTY WAS A HAWAIIAN THEME. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK RON
AND LINDA JONES WHO HOSTED THE PARTY AND DWAN AND LYNN MATTHEWS WHO BARBECUED
THE PIG. WE HAVE PHOTOS BELOW SHOWING WHAT A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. IF YOUR

June 16, 2007 Summer Community Party
The weather was good, even the bugs behaved. The food was great as always. Many thanks to Lynn and
Dwan for cooking all of the chicken and to Austin and Ricky for cooking the hamburgers and hot dogs. We
had a great salad and mega desserts. Cloin as usual made his great tasting ice cream.
The kids seemed to enjoy the ball toss game and even more so the egg toss game.
We also welcomed Karen and Basil Miller our new neighbors in the neighborhood. They were moving in this
weekend and we were fortunate that they stopped by. The Miller’s are related to the Simmons so the whole
family was here to help.
I especially want to thank my crew who not only helped clean up the cul-de-sac and decorate (along with
others). This allowed me to get involved in the front entrance project. To Margaret, Kim, Barbara and my Iced
Tea buddy Charlotte. You are the best. Also to Lynn, I don’t know how you do it but my special thanks for all
your help.
Our next big get together will be the Annual Meeting. I have already reserved the building for November 3rd.
